Hello and thank you for visiting. My professional expertise is in book publishing, writing, and coaching writers through the completion of their book proposals and manuscripts. I offer writing coaching and professional publishing consulting to a broad range of clients who are looking to build their author platforms, better understand the complicated world of publishing, and get published. I've worked with novelists, memoirists, screenplay writers, poets, and artists. If your ultimate goal is to get your work published, I can help you get there.

I currently work in the publishing industry as a book editor, a profession I've been privileged to be working in for the past nine and a half years. I've coached hundreds of authors through deadlines and crises of confidence and past the finish line.

In coaching, I'm interested in helping writers achieve their goals—and enjoy the process along the way. Sometimes we can be so focused on the end goal that we get to the end only to look back and wonder what it might have been like to have dropped down into the journey just a little bit. In consulting, I bring my years of publishing expertise to help you get exactly what you want—an agent, a publisher, a completed book. There are lots of ways to get there, and I don’t believe in giving up. My job will be to support you and devise strategies to propel you forward and help you access your untapped, forgotten, or ignored passions and energies that will get you moving, no matter if you’re completely stuck or charging ahead at a zillion miles an hour toward a hard deadline.

I bring a wide range of disciplines and interests to coaching, including the Ennegram and the Diamond Approach®. I'm a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), a leading program in coaching that's accredited by the International Coach Federation. I am also a certified facilitator of SoulCollage®, a creative and intuitive process that I use in my workshops.

I earned my B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, and my M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from San Francisco State University. I live and work in Berkeley, California.
